Explore the world of Heroic Earth, a planet filled with larger than life heroes that struggle with incredibly competent villains! Follow the history of the setting from the universe’s creation to the age of spies, and watch as the word becomes populated by awesome Metamen! See the planet become a complex political web of powerful demigods, terrorist organizations, ultrapowerful corporations, and those fragile nations that are protected by super heroes! It is a world that desperately needs heroes . . . . . .and those heroes are you! “When Charles pitched the Heroic Earth setting to me with the manuscript for Halt Evil Doer!, I saw a great product with a lot of potential for truly four-color adventure,” said Arbor Productions Publisher, Lee F. Szczepanik, Jr. “To be honest, I’m a tough sell on such things. Admittedly, I prefer the slightly darker tone that we had in Autumn Arbor. But, when I read the manuscript and saw what he was doing with Heroic Earth, something in me just harkened back to the glory days of reading comics as a kid, without it feeling like it was just rehashing old material. I thought: wow, this is something I’d actually like to GM for my group! And that shocked me. So, I felt we had a great addition to the M&M Superlink family on our hands.” Halt Evil Doer contains a detailed guide to the Heroic Earth setting, with five new cities, seven new foreign countries, six new planets, four new dimensions, nine new secret societies, twenty new super heroes, twenty-two new villains, and seven new alien races! It contains an in character guide to crime fighting and Game Master’s advice for helping run adventures in the complex world of heroic action. Scheduled for an initial August 2008 release in PDF, Halt Evil Doer! is a world of heroic adventure! To discuss this article, head on over to the official M&M Superlink Forums! |
